The WSSA is a component society of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) www.asahq.org.

The WSSA provides funds to FAER (Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research) and to the Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation. It also applauds the work of the Malignant Hyperthermia Association of the United States (MHAUS). The WSSA strongly urges all its members to become members of the Washington State Medical Association.
